LaLa Speaks Foundation was born from heartbreak.
After founder Jazzie Ford lost her daughter, Jacqueline “LaLa” Rhone, to a ruptured brain aneurysm, one truth became impossible to ignore: too many families are learning about brain aneurysms only after it is too late.
Every 18 minutes, a brain aneurysm ruptures in the United States. Yet so many people still do not know the warning signs, do not know the questions to ask, and do not realize how quickly a life can change. That silence is deadly.
LaLa Speaks Foundation exists to change that.
We are turning pain into passion by bringing brain health awareness, education, advocacy, and early intervention into the community in ways people can actually feel, understand, and carry forward. We meet people where they are because awareness should not begin in a crisis room. It should begin long before tragedy strikes.
This Give STL Day, we are building momentum for our Brain Health & Early Intervention Summit on May 28, 2026. This physician-led convening will bring community members, advocates, medical voices, and leaders together for a conversation that can save lives. It is more than an event. It is an opportunity to move brain aneurysm awareness out of the shadows and into the public conversation where it belongs.
Your support helps us expand outreach, prepare educational materials, increase visibility, and create a summit experience that informs, equips, and empowers. More importantly, it helps us make sure another family may hear what ours did not hear in time.
LaLa was taken. Another family should not have to be.
Give today. Help us break the silence. Help us save lives.
