The Chief Mason Griffith Foundation was founded in October 2023, driven by a profound commitment to honor the memory of Det. Sgt. Mason Griffith, who was tragically shot and killed in the line of duty in Hermann, MO, on March 12, 2023. In the wake of this heartbreaking loss, Mason's family and friends came together to establish this transformative 501(c)(3) organization, dedicated to supporting first responders—both those who have served and those who aspire to serve.

Our Foundation stands as a beacon of hope for the families of fallen heroes, providing crucial financial support for those impacted by injuries or illnesses related to their service, as well as off-duty injuries that create financial strain. We are passionate about nurturing the next generation of first responders by offering scholarships to young men and women dedicated to serving their communities.

In 2024, we exceeded our goals by an extraordinary 108%. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we raised over $175000 to reinvest back into the first responder community, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to those who put their lives on the line.

Looking ahead to 2025, we are excited to introduce our "Make a Difference May" campaign, aiming to raise $153000. These vital funds will be invested in building initiatives and expanding our programs, ensuring that we can better support first responders and their families throughout central Missouri.
