The Chief Mason Griffith Foundation was established to honor the courageous legacy of Det. Sgt. Mason Griffith, who tragically lost his life in the line of duty on March 12, 2023, while serving his community with unwavering dedication. As a proud 501(c)(3) organization, we are deeply committed to ensuring that his spirit lives on through active support to those who continue to serve. The Chief Mason Griffith Foundation stands as an essential resource for first responders and their families, providing critical assistance during their most challenging and vulnerable times, whether it be through financial aid, resources, or emotional support.
Our motto, “Past, Present, and Future,” exemplifies our comprehensive commitment to honoring the legacy of Chief Griffith. We aim to not only support fallen and retired first responders but also provide for the men and women who are currently on the front lines, and encourage the next generation of individuals who aspire to join this noble profession.
We focus our efforts on first responders from St. Louis, Jefferson City, the Lake of the Ozarks, and Kansas City. Our mission encompasses a wide array of support services, including financial assistance for line-of-duty injuries or fatalities, as well as support for any illness, injury, or loss of income that first responders may face in their time of need.
In addition, we are actively working to expand our educational scholarship programs, which aim to provide financial resources for training, education, and professional development for first responders and their families. We are also committed to mental health support, ensuring that funds are readily available for counseling and mental wellness initiatives. Through structured programs and community partnerships, we are determined to empower first responders, enabling them to navigate personal and professional challenges while fostering a culture of resilience and self-care.
Join us in this vital mission to honor those who serve selflessly and safeguard our communities. Together, we can ensure that no hero goes unsupported.
The Chief Mason Griffith Foundation strives to provide assistance to former or fallen first responders, current first responders in time of need, and encourage young men and women to become first responders with our scholarship program.
