Gateway180 is the largest 24-hour emergency shelter in Missouri. We serve as a temporary home for 125 women, children, and family members experiencing homelessness, with the average age of our client being nine years old. We provide safe shelter, housing programs, empowerment tools & education, children's services, and connections to resources that are critical in moving individuals and families from the trauma of needing emergency shelter towards independence, stability, and permanent housing. Our goal is to assist and ensure that the individuals we serve become their own support system, ultimately ending the cycle of generational homelessness.

Participating in Give STL Day helps Gateway180 raise funds to further support our mission of empowering families to become independent and permanently housed. It also provides a great opportunity for increased exposure allowing us to reach a larger number of individuals with whom our mission resonates in the Saint Louis Community. Being a part of Give STL Day establishes Gateway180 as a valuable resource that is successfully working to eliminate homelessness within our Saint Louis community one family at a time.

Gateway180's mission is to empower adults and families to become independent and permanently housed.
