Viva Brasil STL was launched in 2012 to share the Brazilian culture between Brazilian and American communities.
Jaqueline Shafer and Carolina Holtmeyer, are both Brazilian mothers who married Americans and have raised their children in St. Louis. They noticed that the importance of teaching their roots and stories to their families was a constant effort in their daily lives. Viva Brasil Association was created to teach and maintain the Brazilian culture alive through education and arts.
Your gracious donation will support the Viva Brasil Scholarship, our Portuguese language, and cultural events, including the 8th Festa Junina Brazilian Folk Festival.

Mission: To maintain and promote the Brazilian culture by integrating people and institutions.
Vision: To be the center of the Brazilian culture in the St. Louis region.
Goal: To bring Brazilian culture to St. Louis by sponsoring cultural events and teaching Portuguese Language.
