Twangfest is now in its 24th year as a not-for-profit, volunteer-based, grassroots music organization and festival. Every year, our June festival reaches over a 1000 people in St. Louis. And our summer and fall music series at the Tower Grove Farmers' Market presents free music to families and market-goers, reaching tens of thousands of people every year.
The mission of Twangfest is to preserve and promote the unique tradition and culture of Americana music. Twangfest works toward this goal by organizing an annual multiple-day event that promotes the development, performance and enjoyment of Americana music outside the profit-oriented framework of the recording industry. We also present a variety of music events in St. Louis, include tribute nights and the Saturday Sessions concert series at the Tower Grove Farmers' Market.
