SVdP is one of the largest social safety net providers in Eastern Missouri. Serving 13 counties and providing $15 million in direct aid, providing utility, housing, medication, food and transportation assistance, and the in-kind value of clothing, furniture, and professional services like legal aid.

Every year SVdP's 120 neighborhood-based chapters serves over 80,000 households, which include over 200,000 individuals.

Mission

Inspired by Gospel values, the Society of St. Vincent De Paul is a network of friends growing in holiness and building a more just world through personal relationships with and service to people in need.

The St. Louis Council consists of more than 3,100 volunteers who help our neighbors in need, regardless of religion, race, employment, etc.
