A nurse shared how noticing one small change saved a life during a night shift. A pharmacist explained how the right medication can mean the difference between suffering and relief.

For the first time, healthcare isn’t just a title but also a story, a responsibility, a calling.

Suddenly, he leans in. Healthcare is no longer distant but it’s real, human, and within reach.

Through Courage Canvas, we are launching a Health Literacy and Career Awareness Program that brings healthcare closer to youth through interviews with real professionals, shared on YouTube for free, accessible learning.

Each video goes beyond surface-level information with their professionals discussion: their personal journey into healthcare (challenges, motivations, turning points); what their work actually looks like day-to-day; key health concepts explained simply for public understanding; advice for youth exploring careers in medicine and science. This initiative addresses a critical gap: many students especially underserved youth lack access to mentors, accurate health information, and exposure to real healthcare environments. By combining storytelling with education, we make both health literacy and career pathways more accessible.

This is not just about inspiring future doctors but also about building a generation that better understands health, the human body, and the systems that care for it. In a world where misinformation is common, accessible and trustworthy voices matter more than ever.

1. Produce high-quality interview videos with clear audio and visuals.

2. Expand outreach to schools, youth programs, and community organizations.

3. Feature a diverse range of professionals across multiple healthcare fields.

4. Build a growing, free electronic library of public health education content.

1. Recording equipment including camera, microphone, and lighting: $1000.

2. Video editing software including editing and production tools: $100.

3. Interview logistics including travel or virtual recording setup: $400.

4. Outreach and partnerships including recruiting professionals and school connection: $500.

5. Content distribution including YouTube setup and  promotion: $100.

6. Program coordination including scheduling, communication and management: $200.
