The Gateway Disabled Ski program's mission is to enable everyone, regardless of ability, to enhance their health and happiness through adaptive sports.
Henry has been participating in GDSP for 3 years. He goes every Thursday during the season and skis 1:1 with a volunteer coach. In this time, he has developed a love of skiing. He can recite what to remember and improves every year!
This year all 5 of us participated in various forms. In March we went to Steamboat Springs for a family trip where we got to ski all together as a family! Without GDSP, that trip never could have happened.
The money raised for GDSP this year is to pay for an adaptive coach to come to St. Louis for a week to work with the athletes and the volunteers for an even better experience.
