A brain aneurysm rupture happens every 18 minutes in the United States, yet most people still do not know the warning signs, the risk factors, or how quickly it can turn deadly.
That is the problem LaLa Speaks Foundation was created to confront.
Brain aneurysms are often called a silent killer because they can strike without warning and leave families devastated in an instant. While other health issues have become household conversations, brain aneurysm awareness is still missing from too many schools, churches, workplaces, and community spaces. In Missouri and beyond, too many people are living without the knowledge that could save their own lives or the lives of someone they love.
LaLa Speaks Foundation was born from devastating loss after the founder’s daughter passed away from an undiagnosed brain aneurysm. Her death was sudden, unexpected, and life-changing. What began as heartbreak became a mission to make sure more families are informed, empowered, and reached before crisis happens.
That mission lives through Silent Sounds, Loud Impact, LaLa Speaks Foundation’s flagship brain health awareness experience.
Silent Sounds, Loud Impact is a mobile and in-person initiative that brings life-saving education directly into schools, churches, workplaces, and community spaces across St. Louis. Through storytelling, culturally relevant outreach, and interactive engagement, this initiative helps individuals and families better understand brain aneurysm warning signs, the importance of early detection, and the urgency of speaking up before it is too late.
Your support helps LaLa Speaks Foundation expand this work through educational materials, outreach tools, community activations, and awareness efforts designed to meet people where they are. It helps us start conversations that are not happening widely enough. It helps us reach communities that have historically had less access to preventive information and health education. Most of all, it helps us turn silence into action.
This is why LaLa Speaks matters.
We are not waiting for brain aneurysm awareness to become a household conversation on its own. We are building that visibility now. We are bringing this issue out of the shadows and into the places where people live, gather, learn, and heal. We are creating the kind of community-based awareness that can save lives before a rupture steals another family’s future.
When you give to Silent Sounds, Loud Impact, you are not simply donating to a program. You are helping LaLa Speaks Foundation make brain aneurysm awareness visible, accessible, and impossible to ignore.
You are helping us turn pain into passion.
You are helping us break the silence.
You are helping us save lives.
