This GiveSTL Day, we’re focusing on young people impacted by the justice system — children and young adults whose lives are shaped by incarceration, instability, and barriers they did not create.

Your support will help launch and grow two powerful new initiatives designed to break cycles and build brighter futures:

Hope in Motion

Keeping families connected

When a parent is incarcerated, children often bear the emotional weight of separation, sometimes going months or years without a visit due to distance and cost.

Hope in Motion provides transportation for children and caregivers to visit incarcerated parents in Missouri institutions — restoring connection, strengthening families, and supporting healthier outcomes for children.

With your help, we can:

• Fund bus trips for families across the region
• Remove transportation as a barrier to visitation
• Support meaningful parent-child relationships during incarceration

Because connection matters, and no child should lose a parent simply because they can’t get there.

Foundations Rising

A strong start for young adults returning home

Young adults leaving incarceration or facing homelessness are at a critical crossroads. Without stable housing and support, too many are pulled back into cycles of instability.

Foundations Rising provides:

• Fully furnished, move-in-ready housing
• Wraparound case management and life skills support
• Pathways to employment, education, and independence

Focused on individuals 25 and under, this program gives young people the foundation they need to build a stable, self-sufficient future.

With your support, we can:

• Expand access to safe, stable housing
• Provide intensive support during the most vulnerable transition period
• Help young adults move from survival to stability—and toward long-term success
