Help Me Give Cats The Lives They Deserve...

This Give STL Day, I’m fundraising for Tenth Life Cat Rescue for a very personal reason: my foster cat, Minxy.

Minxy is only two years old, but she’s already been through more than most cats ever should. Last fall, she suffered a devastating blood clot, and for a while, we didn’t know if she would survive. She lost the use of her back leg and was in critical condition.

But because she was at Tenth Life, Minxy got a chance.

She received immediate, lifesaving veterinary care and the support she needed to fight her way back. And she did. Today, Minxy has regained the use of her leg, is thriving under the care of a cardiologist, and takes her daily medications like the star she is. 

And, she's not going anywhere. Minxy has made herself at home with my family, and we adore her.

What makes her story even more incredible is where she started. Minxy was once a skittish, fearful alley cat in South City, surviving on her own and unsure of people. Now, she’s so very loved, safe, and finally getting the care she deserves.

Tenth Life made that transformation possible.
