Kitchen Renovation at Valentine Place

Since 2017, Valentine Place has provided critical respite care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities experiencing crisis. For 30-90 days, individuals receive specialized support to stabilize behaviors and build routines -- often returning home or transitioning to more independent living settings. 

As we continue learning and growing, we are making thoughtful updates to further enhance safety for both individuals and staff.

This Give STL Day, Caring Solutions is raising funds to renovate the kitchen at Valentine Place -- a high-traffic area where thoughtful design can make a major impact. Updates will improve visibility, reduce risk during behavioral outbursts, and create a safer space for everyone.
