Stand with Oasis this Give STL Day

Right here in the St. Louis region, Oasis serves more than 5,000 older adults each year. Through lifelong learning classes, health and wellness programs, and volunteer opportunities like our one-of-a-kind Intergenerational Tutoring program, older adults find connection, purpose, and better health. In the past year, Oasis tutors worked one-on-one with more than 1,800 St. Louis elementary students, helping the vast majority improve their reading skills and confidence. That two-generation impact is uniquely Oasis—and uniquely St. Louis. Our community members shared how Oasis has impacted their lives:

One Oasis participant said, “Oasis has been one of the four happy pillars of my retirement!”

A volunteer tutor told us, “Tutoring has revealed new aspects of myself, and I'm grateful for this transformative experience."

Thanks to support from our generous donors, every dollar raised will be matched 1:1, doubling your impact!

Oasis is where generations of St. Louis neighbors come together to learn, connect, and support one another. Your gift this Give STL Day keeps more than 5,000 older adults learning, moving, and thriving -- and provides literacy support to local schools who urgently need it.

Mission

Oasis' mission is to promote healthy aging through lifelong learning, active lifestyles, and volunteer engagement.
