St. Louis Ovarian Cancer Awareness

A nonprofit organization

St. Louis Ovarian Cancer Awareness is committed to impacting ovarian cancer survivorship by promoting awareness of early warning signs and standards of care, funding ovarian cancer research, and supporting survivors. To support this mission we attend community events, sharing the signs and symptoms to promote awareness and encourage early diagnosis. We also participate in the national program, Survivors Teaching Students, where our survivors present their experience to local medical and nursing students. We also fund an annual grant through the Foundation for Women's Cancer for ovarian cancer research. And to support local survivors, we provide Sister Boxes, packages of care items that are distributed to newly-diagnosed women at their first chemo appointment.
