Rx Outreach

A nonprofit organization

Created to help people gain access to affordable medication, Rx Outreach started as a program at Express Scripts. Our founder, Michael Holmes, an executive at Express Scripts at the time, was inspired during prayer to spin off Rx Outreach in order to help more people in need. In 2010, Rx Outreach became a stand-alone 501C3. In honor of this divine inspiration, we print the words "Honoring God by Serving Others" on every bottle cap of our medications.
We are proud to be the nation's largest, nonprofit, fully-licensed digital pharmacy.
When the pandemic hit, we saw a decline in our program enrollment since people were concerned with food, shelter, and staying in quarantine. As the pandemic went on and with the recent inflation, we have seen an increase in people who turn to us for help with discounted medications. Many still cannot afford their medications. So, we created our Helping Hand Program - giving qualified patients three months of free medication. Donations to Rx Outreach help us remain a low-cost medication option for people in need and help to subsidize our Helping Hand Program.

Mission

Rx Outreach's mission is to provide people access to affordable medications. Our vision is a world where everyone can access the medications they need.

Since 2010 we have dispensed more than 4 million medications to more than 500,000 people nationwide, saving them over $1 billion dollars in prescription drug costs when compared to pharmacy retail prices.
