Reproductive Health Services of Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region

In the year after the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization decision, the Reproductive Health Services of Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region (RHS) health center in Fairview Heights, Illinois, saw nearly 10,000 abortion patients, a 35% increase from the previous year. Patients come to us from across the Midwest and South, each with their own unique travel and support needs.

RHS' Regional Logistics Center is a patient navigation center that helps arrange travel and lodging, and connects patients with financial and practical support resources patients may need in accessing reproductive health care. More than 40% of patients at the health center in Fairview Heights, IL, travel from somewhere other than Missouri and Illinois.

A gift to Reproductive Health Services of Planned Parenthood through Give STL Day will go straight to our Patient Equity Funds, and ensure we can continue providing Care, No Matter What. The Patient Equity Fund directly supports the patient's individual needs, and we estimate that the need for a patient will range from $600 - $1,500, depending on the geographic distance from their home to Illinois.
