Every person living in a long-term care facility—like a nursing home or assisted living community—deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion. But too often, their voices go unheard.

That’s where VOYCE comes in.

VOYCE is a nonprofit organization that advocates for individuals living in long-term care. Our trained ombudsmen visit facilities across Eastern Missouri, listen to residents’ concerns, and work to resolve problems like neglect, poor care, or violations of resident rights. We help residents speak up—and when they can’t, we speak up for them.

We also educate families, train caregivers, and empower communities to fight for better care and stronger protections for our most vulnerable neighbors.
