Urban Creative Artist Network Foundation

A nonprofit organization

We offer educational tools, monetary support through grants, material support through resources, and a network for artists and creatives to connect virtually and in person. Through these activities, U.C.A.N. seeks to equip artists with the knowledge and resources they need to succeed as professionals.

U.C.A.N.'s mission to support artists and creatives has been shaped by the experience of its founder, Tashara Earl. Tashara is a talented dancer and entrepreneur who is involved in the St. Louis community as both an artist and a small business owner. U.C.A.N.'s mission was inspired by Tashara's experience living in two apartment communities for artists in St. Louis. After leaving those apartments, she missed the supportive community and collaborative environment they provided. U.C.A.N attempts to replicate this sense of artistic community while also seeking to support the broader community with education, materials, and infrastructure.
