Healing doesn’t happen on the street. Three Steps Home offers a place where our unhoused neighbors can recover after hospitalization with dignity, 24/7 care, and a path forward.
Three Steps Home (formerly known as Bridge of Hope Ministries) is a trusted provider serving the unhoused in the Greater Ville area for over two decades. On April 28, 2026 we launched the first program of its kind in our region to provide a higher level of medical care than provided by existing respite beds in shelters and recovery settings.
This enables us to provide 31 short-term residential beds for lower-acuity patients not sick enough for hospital care, but too ill to recover on the street. Our staff provide 24/7 clinical oversight, meals, and wraparound case management. Residents receive a safe discharge destination that enables recovery and care plan adherence. They receive support through housing navigation and connection to permanent supportive housing. Community health workers work to address the non-clinical barriers to health and stability.
