Who We Are

STAR – St. Louis Avian Rescue is the area's only 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to parrot rescue.

Since 2004, we have helped companion parrots find safe, loving homes. We are 100% volunteer-run and funded entirely by donations and adoption fees.

STAR is top-rated by Great Nonprofits and holds a Platinum Transparency rating on GuideStar.
