With a history of nearly 60 years, Springboard to Learning has positively impacted millions of students and teachers throughout the St. Louis metro area. Through innovative, arts-integrated educational programs, Springboard ignites a love of learning in students by bringing experience, as well as the expertise of teaching artists, into the classroom to expose children to new ways of learning and generate excitement.

During the 2024-2025 school year, we served 26,709 students and teachers during 79,957 contact hours. Over 150 distinct programs, taught by knowledgeable teaching artists and content specialists, are available throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area, the eastern half of Missouri, and the Metro East area of Illinois. In all, Springboard delivered 560 programs in 3,754 program sessions, to students in 98 schools and community venues. Springboard has a strong commitment to serving children who might not otherwise have cultural enrichment opportunities. Overall, 93% of school children served by our programs are economically disadvantaged as defined by state guidelines.

Springboard to Learning believes that meaningful, memorable learning experiences transform a child's worldview.
