St. Louis Irish Arts

A nonprofit organization

St. Louis Irish Arts has been preserving and promoting traditional Irish music, song and dance for over 50 years. We have celebrated and shared Irish culture with audiences in St. Louis, throughout Missouri, and all over North America. Many of our students have represented St. Louis on the international stage at competitions, conventions and concerts in Ireland, China and Italy to name a few. We are very proud to be the leading Irish music school in North America.

Mission

SLIA is a school dedicated to the instruction of the music, song and dance of Ireland. We pride ourselves on our continual persistence to teaching the Irish music, song and dance the way they were taught throughout the centuries in Ireland - the traditional way - passed on orally from one generation to the next. Our goal is to preserve these traditions and traditional ways of teaching these aspects of Irish culture.
