Ranken Technical College – We Make St. Louis Work!

For 119 years, Ranken has provided the technical skills students need for exciting life-long careers. We offer 38 in-demand technical programs across five divisions that include automotive, construction, electrical, information technology, and manufacturing, placing a Ranken graduate in nearly every technical business in the community.

Ranken uses a unique three-part educational formula that grades students on Technical Education, General Education, and Work Ethic. Ranken’s Work Ethic component includes five core traits that every employer wants: Pride in Performance, Ability to Get Along with Others, Positive Attitude, Respect for Workplace Structure, and Honesty. This formula ensures graduates are “work ready” the day they graduate!

Our hands-on programs are offered through day and evening classes at five locations across Missouri and through customized workforce development programs that upskill the current technical workforce. Ranken’s partnership with industry ensures that our students have the knowledge and skills to meet the ever-changing needs of industry, and with a 98% job placement rate, Ranken students are employed before they graduate!

GiveSTL Day donations will support scholarships as more than 80% of Ranken students need loans and other financial assistance to attend. Your donation makes a dramatic difference for our students. Please view the video below to hear several current students share the impact scholarships have had in their lives.
