Good Day Esteemed Donors

I am addressing you today as we embark on an exciting journey together. My name is Cassandra Logan, I am the Executive Director of One Silverstar our philosophy is unity is the best community. One Silverstar mission is to offer a hands up approach not just a handout by building prosperous communities through sustainable affordable housing, health, education, employment and arts. Instead of simply providing aid, the "hands-up" approach focuses on empowering individuals and communities to find sustainable solutions to their own challenges. This fosters self-reliance and long-term independence.  Together, we can transform neighborhoods from blighted urban deserts into vibrant urban oases, significantly improving the lives of countless families. By contributing our efforts, we can create a ripple effect of positive change by addressing the root causes of crime in our communities, such as limited access to affordable housing, education, a lack of hope, food, employment opportunities, and mental health services. We strive to make this a shared goal."

One Silverstar has a opportunity to obtain the property pictured below  Lot 1 - 11. Number 8 - 9 is a building that is 7500 sq. ft. that  is need of a total rehab. This building will be the Revitalizing Education, Arts, & Affordable Housing Community Hub ( R.E.A.C.H )

LOT 1 - 7 is space to develop sustainable affordable housing ( 3 & 4 bdr ).  The housing project will be done in phases.

Economic Empowerment: Commercial Kitchen: Fosters entrepreneurship in the food industry and provides valuable skills training.

Social Impact: Affordable Housing: Addresses a critical need in many urban areas, improving living conditions and stability for families.

Daycare: Provides essential childcare services, allowing parents to pursue education and employment opportunities.

Youth Studios: Offers creative outlets for young people, fostering artistic expression and potentially developing valuable skills for future careers.

Community Building: Food Share Distribution: Combats food insecurity and strengthens community ties through partnerships with other non-profits.

Community Cooking Classes: Promotes healthy eating habits, fosters social interaction, and can even become a source of income for some participants.

Cultural Enrichment: The center will serve as a hub for cultural expression and innovation, enriching the lives of community members and attracting artists and creatives to the area.

By addressing multiple community needs simultaneously, this project has the potential to create a truly transformative impact on many lives. One Silverstar  mission and approach will have the potential to create significant positive change within the communities we serve with your support.  We can focus on empowerment, sustainability, and community-driven solutions. With your generous contribution we can address complex challenges and build a stronger, more resilient future for all.
