In 2023, Oasis International served over 1,600 Refugee families from war torn Countries that have been in America for less than 5 years.
It costs an average of $500 per family to provide them with things like a house full of furniture and other household items which help make their house a home. Oasis also provides free English & Citizen classes along with free childcare during those classes. Each Refugee can receive clothing once a season for the first 3 years in America in our free clothing store. In 2023, Oasis was able to give 13 Vehicles & over 200 bicycles for transportation and provide financial support of $246,000 in Rent & Utility Assistance. Volunteers hosted 19 baby showers for moms-to-be and over 70,000 diapers were distributed to 100’s of new Refugee moms. Over 1,000 total Refugees attended at least one of our 7 Block Parties providing a sense of Community.
In 2023, Oasis was 83% funded over 500 individual donors, 16% funded by 36 Local Churches, and 1% funded by Grants.
