It's Our 70th Birthday This Year!

For 70 years, Nine PBS has been a foundational pillar in the St. Louis community by providing trusted, community-centered content and resources

Nine PBS first went on the air on September 20, 1954. Since that time, we have grown in our commitment to the St. Louis community, becoming a beacon for education, connection, and moving the region forward. Nine PBS serves as the region’s storyteller and trusted partner with a diverse range of programs and initiatives on air, online, and in the community.

Nine PBS was built by and for St. Louis. Our work is driven by our core purpose: to magnify and deepen understanding of our community to help our region flourish.

Over the past seven decades, our region has generously invested time, talent, and resources into our success and impact. We are grateful to the generations of St. Louisans and viewers like you who make Nine PBS possible.

As we look to the future, Nine PBS remains committed to providing programming and services that make the region better and brighter for all. Your support makes this possible! Thank you.
