CHARIS is a family dedicated to the success of the chorus and the welfare of our members. Primarily a lesbian chorus, we welcome all who either identify as women or have voices in the treble range. We are motivated to foster understanding through the messages in our songs and to provide a safe environment for our members. Every voice is heard and we appreciate the different talents and perspectives. We encourage members to reach their personal goals while connecting through music and friendship.
CHARIS chorus is a diverse group of women united in our mission to perform music that celebrates and encourages women and the LGBTQ+ community. We see ourselves as an instrument of change in the Saint Louis area, focused on promoting greater understanding of women and all of the LGBTQ+ community.
