Missouri Faith Voices

A nonprofit organization

Missouri Faith Voices works to create a more just world by teaching people of faith how to build and exercise their own power to address the root causes of the problems they face. In MFV, this struggle for justice is rooted in our shared faith vision. We use listening, research and advocacy to identify and change conditions to create racial equity and economic dignity. We have four buckets of work: Just Democracy which includes protecting and expanding voter rights, defending the right to protest and working toward making HR 40 and the John Lewis Voting Act a reality.
We also work toward Just Health Equity this work includes ensuring there is equity in COVID relief and Medicaid Expansion is implemented and accessible to those most impacted by health inequities, specifically Black people and other people of Color.
Just Reform is our justice reform work we are supporting the Close the Workhouse efforts, working to ensure their is prosecutor accountably in St. Louis City and County and to end cash bail.
Our last bucket of work is Families First this includes ensuring the "children are well," by reducing gun violence and working toward healthy families and safe communities.
