Environmental education is who we are and what we do. We provide amazing professional professional development opportunities, convene partners to cultivate collaboration, and share a wide variety of resources to help educators engage and empower their students. The Show-Me Green Schools suite of programs, co-managed by MEEA and the Missouri Gateway Green Building Council, helps schools set goals, track progress, and earn recognition for their green and healthy achievements.

Mission

MEEA's mission is to help educators inspire every Missouri learner to care about, understand, and act for their environment.

Show-Me Green Schools is a suite of programs to support all Missouri schools in taking a systems-based approach to reducing environmental impact, improving health and wellness, and increasing sustainability literacy. Extra support available for low-income schools. Show-Me Green Schools is co-managed by MEEA and the Missouri Gateway Green Building Council.
