Aside from rescuing and adopting out farm animals in need, we also offer resources to current minipig owners to incentivize them to keep their pets. This includes boarding options, behavioral consultations, and emotional support. Over 90% of minipigs are rehomed before their first birthday, many due to behavioral issues and uninformed owners. All of our behavioral consultations are free of charge. We also maintain a group chat where minipig owners can come together to share ideas and provide support.
In the case of minipigs, the misinformation out there is certainly deadly. We strive to educate the community about the need for rescues like ourselves and the truth about minipigs (p.s. teacup pigs do not exist, they can be over 200lbs).
The situation facing minipigs is dire. We hope that by rescuing those in need, equipping owners with resources, and educating others we can provide a brighter, safer future for these amazing animals.
