MAP St. Louis is the premier Montessori middle and high school in St. Louis, and the only independent school in St. Louis to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program.
Academics:
As our mission states, the MAP St. Louis program prioritizes the holistic development of our students, and that mindset also encompasses our rich, robust academic offerings. Balancing a rigorous curriculum that prepares students for the International Baccalaureate diploma with intentional cultivation of a joy for learning, our academic offerings prepare students to step into roles as leaders of tomorrow.
Students at MAP St. Louis are offered unlimited opportunities to influence the trajectory of their program experience while pursuing their own interests and working collaboratively with peers, staff, and field experts.
Experiential Learning:
As students enter adolescence, self-expression, exploration, and calculated risk-taking become a means by which the individual begins to explore and make sense of the world and their role within it. Our Experiential Learning program is a means of discovering likes and dislikes, identifying and developing new skills, and learning more about the individuals that students are becoming. Therefore, our Experiential Learning program provides the critical infrastructure for much of our non-academic program core.
Advisory:
MAP St. Louis' advisory program fosters collaboration between students, guides, and families, and ensures that each student is truly known and supported in developing and achieving their individual goals.
College & Post-Secondary:
MAP St. Louis strives to support students in planning for and curating a successful and fulfilling adult life. We recognize that each student has unique objectives, skills, and gifts, and we aid students in prioritizing pathways that align with and help them to set and attain their goals. MAP St. Louis staff partner with students and their families in myriad ways-many outlined below.
