For over 50 years, Land of Lincoln Legal Aid has been providing legal assistance to the poor and elderly in 65 counties throughout central and southern Illinois. During the past year, our lawyers and staff helped over 10,000 clients resolve their civil legal problems, including domestic violence, consumer fraud and foreclosure of their homes, to name a few. Your support assures our clients that they will have access to justice and the opportunity to improve their own lives.

Mission

Our mission is to provide low-income and senior residents of central and southern Illinois with high quality legal services in order to obtain and maintain their basic human needs. Through advice, representation, advocacy, education, and collaboration, we seek: to achieve justice for those who voices might otherwise not be heard; to empower individuals to advocate for themselves; and, to make positive changes in the communities we serve.
