What started as a passion project developed by 5 families with young children turned into an advocacy movement for children impacted by foster care all over St. Louis. Most children are welcomed by their first foster family with only the clothes on their backs. Many generous individuals care about kids in foster care but may not know how to help. Foster Together connects children in need with those generous individuals, filling a huge gap in the system.
Foster Together has served over 5,000 children across the St. Louis area since we began in March 2018. Our Safe Seats Program provides NEW car seats and our Arnold, MO boutique brings dignity and hope to vulnerable children and teens. Our dedicated team of volunteers also offers delivery service, ensuring that every need is met! Our new Safe Slumber program gives free new beds and bedding to families who otherwise don't have a place for their new placements to sleep. We aim to meet every need, every step of the way to ensure children feel seen, loved, and respected.
Foster Together supports children and families impacted by foster care. We come alongside foster parents, relative caregivers, and biological parents preparing to reunify with their children and show them that they are not alone. Our boutique opened in late 2021, providing clothing, shoes, toys, bedding, toiletries, and more. We offer new car seats and delivery service to ensure that foster parents are well-equipped.
