DEAF, Inc. is a dynamic non-profit organization, established in 2008 by deaf individuals, dedicated to bridging the communication gap between the deaf and hearing communities. Our mission revolves around four core areas of focus: Access Services, Community Programs, Education, and Outreach.
Through our Access Services, we provide vital sign language interpreting services and offer sign language classes and workshops to increase awareness and understanding about communication access. Our Community Programs foster a sense of belonging and empowerment among individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing and DeafBlind.
Education lies at the heart of our work, as we strive to promote cultural understanding and break down barriers through advocacy, media, visual arts, and more. Our Outreach initiatives extend our impact beyond our immediate community, reaching individuals and organizations state and nation wide.
