CSI is a non-profit organization founded in 2008 with a mission to educate, mentor, and nurture today’s youth—empowering them to reach their fullest potential and lead successful lives. We serve elementary, middle, and high school students through impactful programming designed to foster growth and resilience.
CSI operates entirely on donations and is run by dedicated volunteers—no salaries are paid. Every contribution directly supports our youth programs.
With the support of generous donors, we can expand our reach and deepen the impact of initiatives such as Girl Talk, the Summer Read Project—a creative take on the traditional book club—Family Field Day, and The Collective’s Voice Project (formerly Youth Speak on It). These programs offer safe, inclusive spaces where youth are encouraged to speak freely, share their concerns, connect with peers, and receive mentorship from caring adults. It’s in these judgment-free environments that they are empowered to be their authentic selves.
Through these offerings and more, CSI nurtures the emotional and social well-being of our youth, helping them develop critical decision-making skills, build healthier relationships, and navigate life’s challenges with confidence.
We are proud to see many of our former participants grow into community leaders, not only within CSI but across the St. Louis metropolitan area.
