Build Skills. Build Confidence. Build Futures.

At Building Futures, young people do not just learn how to use tools they learn how to think, solve problems, and believe in what they are capable of while gaining exposure to real career pathways in design, construction, and engineering.

Through hands on design and build experiences, students develop real skills in woodworking, engineering, and design while building confidence that extends far beyond the workshop and into their future.

Building Futures holds free, year-round Saturday workshops at its 5000 sq. ft woodshop and design studio, as well as partners with schools across the St. Louis region providing In-School and Summer school workshops. Also, we host summer camps at our Old North location.

What your gift does:

  • $25 → tools and materials for one builder
  • $100 → supports a full day of hands-on learning
  • $300 → sponsors a student for a full camp experience

Give today to help a young builder build their future

Mission

Building Futures will empower youth by providing hands-on project based STEAM design and building opportunities that cultivate critical thinking, problem solving, team building, collaborating and listening skills.
