All Paws Safe Haven

We have recently taken in a few medical cases. We took a dog off the euthanasia list in Madison County who was found tied to a tree after being dumped by her breeders. Less than 24 hours in our care and that sweet girl developed bloat and needed emergency surgery. We then discovered this was just the start to her medical issues. She had eye infections, ear infections, every worm possible-- including server heartworm. After working hard to get her all fixed and healthy, we found the one thing you never want to find--- the big C.

Abigail was just the start to the dogs we have taken in. We have gotten a total of 15 momma dogs off the streets and into loving homes. We have stopped the cycle of over pet population at the source; getting the moms off the street and getting them fixed. We have taken in dogs with prolapsed anuses (yes, we've done this multiple times). We have taken in over 50 heartworm positive dogs, including one dog in congestive heart failure due to the progressed heartworms.

We take in the dogs that are overlooked because they take more like and TLC to be ready for adoption. We know every dog that enters into our rescue has gotten a second or third chance at life. We truly help the underdogs. When our dogs get adopted it isnt just another day, its a celebration.
