The Actors' Attic

The Actors’ Attic officially became a 501(c)(3) in 2010, but our story really began in 2007 with a city-wide production of The Music Man in Columbia. Funded by a generous grant from The Dorothy Weinel Eppinger Foundation, that production brought together more than 80 actors—young and old—and sparked something special. 

This past year marked an incredible milestone for us: finding a permanent home at 425 Louisa Avenue in Dupo, now known as The Village Theatre. To say we are grateful doesn’t begin to cover it.  Every step forward has been built on the generosity and belief of the greater St. Louis and Metro-East community, and it has brought us to this exciting next chapter.

Our 2026 season opened with Failure: A Love Story—a small, quirky play with music that few people know, but one that audiences can’t help but fall in love with. And fall in love they did. From there, we move to Godspell, perfectly timed for the Easter season and filled with extraordinary talent. You can see it this weekend May 7, 8 and 9th. This summer, our camps are bigger than ever—six in total! We’ve added two additional sessions to meet the overwhelming demand within our limited space. There is nothing quite like watching a Musical-in-a-Week come to life. It’s pure magic.
