Zenhorse

A nonprofit organization

Zenhorse® is an equine-assisted nonprofit in the Greater St. Louis area dedicated to partnering humans with formerly wild mustangs—also healing from trauma—to foster emotional healing, resilience, and nervous system regulation.

Our work centers on two commitments: helping America’s wild mustangs transition from government holding into purposeful lives, and supporting people seeking healing or a return to joy.

Our equine-guided programs serve veterans, women in recovery, and community members navigating trauma, stress, and life transitions. All programming is groundwork-based, honoring ethical partnership, relational healing, and nervous system regulation for both horses and humans.

Through initiatives like Valor & Voice, we support mustangs in building the skills and trust needed to move from holding facilities into loving adoptive homes.

When you support Zenhorse®, you help:

• Provide training, care, and relational experiences that prepare mustangs for adoption
• Support veterans and first responders through equine-guided resilience programs
• Offer recovery-focused meditation and healing circles
• Sustain our 18-acre property, walking labyrinth, and track system designed for natural horse wellness
• Strengthen a community rooted in healing through relationship—with horses, nature, and one another

Lives change on both ends of the lead rope.
Your generosity makes that possible.

Mission

Zenhorse® exists to create safe, nourishing spaces for both mustangs and humans as they journey through healing, relationship, and restoration.
