We believe that when you "Tell Your Story," anything is possible. Stories help build community, foster empathy, inspire others, spark action - and can ultimately help make the world a better place. Through tutoring, creative writing workshops, and collaborative projects, YourWords STL helps St. Louis-area marginalized youth find the confidence to tell their story and to share their story with the community.
This Give STL Day, you can help support our work to amplify the voices of St. Louis' marginalized youth. Your support will make possible our efforts to provide tutoring and workshops to Clay Community Resource Center, in partnership with SLPS, SLU and LinkSTL.

Mission
YourWords STL is a 501(c)3 non-profit that uses tutoring, creative writing workshops, and inter-scholastic writing projects to help St. Louis youth amplify their voices. We are committed to bridging racial, cultural, and economic divides by honing young people's abilities to tell their stories while providing opportunities for the community to listen.
