$25,000 Goal

At WalkNFaith, we are working at the critical intersection of mental health, economic disparity, and workforce development—focusing on one of the most underserved and resilient populations: single mothers.

Many of the women we serve are navigating significant barriers, including untreated or under-addressed mental health challenges, limited access to career pathways, and systemic inequities that make long-term stability difficult to achieve. These challenges not only impact the individual, but also have lasting effects on their children, families, and communities.

At the same time, our healthcare system is facing a growing workforce shortage, particularly in entry- and mid-level roles such as Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs). This shortage directly impacts the quality and accessibility of care, especially in underserved communities.

WalkNFaith exists to bridge this gap.

Through our programs, we provide single mothers with access to healthcare training, career readiness support, and mental health–informed guidance. By addressing both personal and professional barriers, we create a pathway toward not only employment, but sustainable, gainful careers in healthcare.

Our approach is intentional and holistic. Participants receive:

  • Workforce training aligned with in-demand healthcare roles
  • Support navigating mental health challenges and life stressors
  • Mentorship and guidance designed specifically for single mothers
  • Preparation for certification, employment, and long-term career growth

The impact is twofold. Women gain the tools, confidence, and credentials needed to secure stable employment with livable wages. At the same time, we contribute to strengthening the healthcare workforce by preparing compassionate, trained professionals ready to serve their communities.

Your support plays a vital role in making this possible.

Donations to WalkNFaith directly fund training opportunities, certification costs, learning materials, and program expansion. Every contribution helps remove a barrier—whether it’s covering tuition for a student, providing resources for skills training, or supporting the wraparound services that ensure participants can successfully complete the program.

More importantly, your investment helps create long-term change:

  • Increasing access to mental health–informed support
  • Reducing economic disparities for single-parent households
  • Strengthening the healthcare workforce pipeline
  • Creating generational impact through stable, gainful employment

We believe that when individuals given the opportunity and support to succeed, entire communities are transformed.

We would welcome the opportunity to connect with you, share more about our work, and explore how you can partner with us in this mission.

Thank you for your time, consideration, and commitment to creating meaningful impact.

Mission

WalkNFaith’s mission is to reduce disparities in mental health access, economic stability, and workforce opportunity by empowering single mothers with the education, training, and support needed to secure gainful employment in healthcare. Through a holistic, equity-driven approach, we equip women to overcome systemic barriers, improve their well-being, and build sustainable futures for themselves and their families while strengthening the communities they serve.
