ThriVe St. Louis

ThriVe® St. Louis was established in 1983 as a crisis pregnancy center. Founder Mary Nelson recognized the need for a place where women facing unplanned pregnancies could come for counseling and accurate information about their options. Over the years, the organization added centers across the metro area (currently 3) and expanded the services it offered as it responded to the changing needs of clients. In 1996, the Best ChoiceSM Sexual Integrity Program was established to help teens through in-school presentations understand the risks of being sexually active and benefits of sexual abstinence. In 2006, the organization partnered with Our Lady's Inn to provide safe housing for pregnant women living in unsafe or unhealthy conditions. In 2011, the organization added mobile medical services to reach individuals where they live for LIFE!
