Every young person deserves a safe place to land and a path forward.
The Core Collective at Saint Vincent is a non-profit agency invested in the transformational power of youth. Our mission is simple: to make well-being the standard for St. Louis.
We support young people and families navigating housing instability, mental health challenges, and major life transitions. Through our Transitional Living Program, community-based mental health services, street outreach, and The Hub (our drop-in recreation and resource center) we create safe spaces, meaningful connections, and real pathways forward.
Each year, we serve more than 1000 individuals across the St. Louis region, with a growing focus on supporting older youth aging out of the foster care system; a population with an urgent and often unmet need for housing and stability. Our work is rooted in a trauma-informed, holistic approach. We offer therapy, counseling, case management, life skills education, and other supportive services that meet young people where they are. More importantly, we walk alongside them as they build independence, confidence, and a vision for their future.
Founded in 1850, The Core Collective has evolved alongside the needs of our community for over 170 years. Today, we continue that legacy by creating a safe, supportive environment where young people are seen, valued, and equipped to reach their full potential.
