Our Impact
For the 2025-26 academic year, The Next Step awarded $500,600 in scholarships to 139 individuals. Since 2005, we have awarded over $2.8 million in scholarships to individuals active in 12-step recovery programs from substance use disorder. This year, we received 165 applications, reflecting a 20% increase over last year. Scholarships for the 2026-27 academic year will be awarded in mid-May.
