Since our founding, the TaTa Sisterhood has hosted over a dozen fundraisers, raised over 1.2 million dollars and assisted over 450 women and their families living with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. We couldn’t do it without you, our dear friends and most generous backers.

In June of 2024 we kicked off our first official Triple Negative Breast Cancer specific research project. This has been a decade long goal of ours and a core aspect of the foundation’s mission.

We offer practical support as well as fun boosts of motivation and love to women with TNBC. Emotional, financial and educational assistance are the pillars of our care packages, each tailored to the unique needs of our sisters. Sometimes our ladies want someone to connect with about their journey. Financial help is available for when the daily cost of living gets heavy and medical bills cause stress. We try to lighten the burdens our sisters are feeling so they can focus on healing. We also host sisterhood events throughout the year so our ladies can gather, laugh and build relationships. Our TaTa community creates a space to feel welcome, inspired and hopeful — and sisterhood is forever.

Mission

We are chemotherapy angels who provide motivational and financial assistance to women living with triple-negative breast cancer.

Our organization focuses on triple-negative breast cancer because there is no targeted treatment for it—yet. As we strive to lessen the burden on women who receive this diagnosis, we also aim to find a targeted treatment for TNBC. Our individual assistance is tailored to each woman’s situation and needs, and everyone we support becomes part of our loving TaTa Sisterhood.

In addition to helping those with TNBC stay hopeful and strong, we are actively fundraising to support promising research in breast cancers diagnosed as triple-negative. In TNBC, none of the three targets for treatment of other breast cancers are present. Although traditional chemotherapy is an option to help fight the disease, these and other specialized hormone therapies are often not as effective. Help us build a future where women with TNBC will have new and powerful treatments to support their healing.
