The Ethics Project is a St. Louis-based nonprofit working at the intersection of justice, healing, and community transformation. From our early work convening The National Youth Summit on Education, Justice, and the U.S. Economy—held in collaboration with UMSL, Howard University, Morehouse College, Jackson State University, and others—to our recent initiatives, we remain committed to creating safer, more just communities.
In response to rising youth trauma and violence, we launched The Youth Art and Writing Project on Gun Violence, Peace, and Hope, giving students a powerful outlet to express the impact of violence through creative storytelling and visual art. The initiative sparked district-wide changes in literacy programming and continues to inspire healing and change.
Now, through a partnership with the St. Louis Mental Health Board, we are introducing Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) to the region—an evidence-based approach proven to reduce juvenile incarceration and build resilience in youth who have experienced trauma.
In all we do, from community forums to law enforcement accountability efforts, The Ethics Project works to uplift voices, expose injustice, and offer real, sustainable solutions.
