In 2007, Steven Louis Brawley began publishing a St. Louis LGBTQIA+ history blog that served as the beginnings of the now fully-established St. Louis LGBT History Project, a contributor to LGBTQIA+ archives at the Missouri History Museum, the Missouri State Museum, the State Historical Society of Missouri, and Washington University in St. Louis. The Project needs funding to help support:

-Creation of educational displays/exhibits
-Filming video documentaries
