This is our 2nd year being a part of Give STL Day and we want to thank you for considering a donation towards the health and well-being of these visually impaired and/or completely BLIND ICE HOCKEY players! To say we are excited to be a part of this epic day of giving is an understatement.
Herb Brooks, the head coach for the 1980's USA Olympic hockey team, once said, “Great moments are born from great opportunity.” And that's what the St. Louis Blues Blind Hockey Club has here. That's what the St. Louis Blues Blind Hockey Club has earned for the past 7 seasons. Our main goal, this Spring and Summer, is to continue to grow and recruit our BLIND HOCKEY program, with a strong focus on the 12 and under kiddos who are blind or have visual impairments to the try ice skating and hockey.
The St. Louis Blues Blind Hockey Club wrapped up their 7th season the end of March with a scrimmage game against the 19U Cyclones Elite hockey team. It was a great morning at the ice rink and Louie was there to cheer on BOTH teams.

This local nonprofit has been in partnership with the St. Louis Blues since 2018 and continues to be generously supported by several national and local sponsors.
Practices are held on Saturday mornings, September till March. The ice split amongst the age groups for more individualized coaching and skill development and all in all, the time on the ice was a success.

Vann replied, “It’s nice to see the kids smiling when they realize what’s possible when given the opportunity and it’s our hope to add to our current roster.”
