Misophonia can be an isolating disorder, but together we are strong. Misophonia affects millions of people in the US and while awareness and research on it are growing, it's still not well known though it can affect all aspects of life.

These stimuli, known as “triggers,” are experienced as unpleasant or distressing and tend to evoke strong negative emotional, physiological, and behavioral responses that are not seen in most other people.”
